2026/27 flu vaccination starts 17 September, including care homes

The Department of Health's 2026/27 seasonal flu vaccination programmes start on 17 September, including the Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme for care home residents. It says residents aged 65 or over who were not vaccinated last season had a higher rate of severe flu than those who were.
