Independence

Many care home websites are paid for by the homes or earn referral fees. This one is not.

• Homes pay nothing: every licensed home is listed, from the official lists.
• Position is never sold: lists are ordered by district, voucher status and name, and no one can pay to move up.
• No star ratings: until there are reliable, moderated reviews we don't score homes.
• Official records are linked, not copied: SWD's conviction, warning and licence cancellation lists are authoritative; see checking SWD records.
• Clear labels: any future advertising or sponsorship will be clearly labelled and kept apart from the home data.

Funding

The site has no advertising or sponsorship today and is non-commercial. If that changes we will update this page first, and stop using data whose terms allow non-commercial use only.
